Testimonials
Jo was recommended to me and from the first time we met I have been impressed by her approach. She is friendly, professional and very honest, and has provided me with sound financial advice. The cashflow system she uses has enabled me to see that on retirement I won’t run out of money, and even how much I can safely spend on “fun stuff”. I am happy to recommend Jo to my friends and family, and to anyone who wants a truly outstanding professional financial service, and the peace of mind this gives.

My wife and I first met Jo approximately 4 years ago as I was approaching retirement and needed advice on arranging the various pensions I was due to receive at 65.
We were immediately struck by her understanding of our requirements, her positive attitude and common sense. She presented us with options and explained the pros and cons of each. Once a decision had been made to take out a SIPP Jo handled all the details, contacting the various pension providers and ensuring that the arrangements met Isle of Man requirements. In short the whole process was painless and hassle free.
When Jo decided to set up her own business we had no hesitation in transferring everything to Chartwell. She has continued to give good, sound advice and with newly acquired software demonstrate the effect any changes in circumstances would have on our future income.
We would recommend anyone in a similar position to talk to Jo.

How we work when putting together a financial plan for you:
01. Discovery
We will arrange a meeting at a time and place convenient for you. This is an opportunity to gather information, get to know you, and understand your goals; in life, not just in relation to your finances. We build long-term relationships with our clients to put you on the right track and ensure you remain there.
02. Research
We obtain information on any of your existing plans and complete a review of your cash flow. What does your current financial picture look like and will it achieve your goals?.
03. Plan
Using lifestyle cashflow planning software, we will create a plan that will solve your current financial problems and get you on the right path to achieving your objectives. We’ll then meet again to present the plan and our recommendations. Of course, you’re bound to have to questions and queries here; we’ll make sure those are addressed.
04. Implement
Our team will work to implement the recommendations we have put in place. We will be happy to work with any other professional advisers, including advocates and accountants.
05. Review
A financial plan is not a one-off process. We will continue to review the suitability of your plan and arrangements regularly. Not only can your objectives change but so too can regulations, products and tax rules. We will be there to make sure you stay on-track. We build long-lasting relationships with our clients and offer an ongoing service to ensure you and your family remain on track, whatever happens.
